Who we are

SIQ.ONE ("we", "us") provides digital security services to individuals, families, and family offices. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we act as the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

Which law applies

We handle personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The supervisory authority for our processing is the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

What we collect

Only what you choose to give us. There is no contact form on this site , the only way to reach us is by email , so in practice this means:

• Your name and email address, and anything else you include in your message.
• Any details you later share with us in the course of an enquiry or engagement.

We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, or third-party trackers on this site.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To reply to your enquiry , our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has contacted us.
• To provide services you've asked for , performance of a contract with you.
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations , compliance with a legal obligation.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing to people who haven't asked for it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead anywhere are deleted within 12 months. Where we've worked together, we keep records for as long as we need to for legal, tax, and regulatory purposes, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate , for example our email and hosting providers , under contracts that require them to protect it, and with authorities where the law requires it.

Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or adequacy regulations.

How we protect it

Encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication on every account with access, least-privilege access controls, and regular review. We hold ourselves to the standard we set for clients.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have your data erased; to restrict or object to how we use it; to data portability; and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis we rely on.

To exercise any of these, email privacy@siq.one , or simply reply delete to any email from us. We'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log the request as part of serving the file; no cookie is set by us and nothing is used to track you across sites.

Changes

If we change this notice materially, we'll update the date above and, where we hold your contact details and the change affects you, tell you directly.
